As some of you may or may not be aware, April 2nd is Autism Awareness day and April is National Autism Awareness month so I thought it was the perfect opportunity for us to offer up something special, in an attempt to not only help raise awareness but also help those that are working with children with autism on a daily basis, whether it just be encouragement, ideas or printable resources.

So here’s how it’s going to work…throughout April we will have lots of exciting things happening on our facebook page and websites.
Here’s a rundown of what to expect…
Every Tuesday throughout April – Resource request evening (the top 5 suggestions for Autism specific resources will be created)
Every Wednesday throughout April – “HELP!” (come to us with your requests for ideas and inspiration if you work with children with autism and we will see what our community can do to help).
Every Thursday throughout April – Inspiration (I’ll be sharing pictures, websites and ideas I’ve come across from around the web, to help with teaching and working with children with autism).
Every Friday throughout April – FUN and antics! (lots of great facebook related bits and bobs to get you excited about autism and helping to spread awareness).
So make sure you join us on our facebook page every evening throughout April – Don’t miss out!!
