This evening’s Inspiration for your Classroom is an easy activity to recreate – using a ticket outline, a laminator, hole punch and some paper clips. Of course, if you didn’t want to spent time laminating you can just print onto card, then punch a hole – I personally am pro-laminate as time is precious and they can easily be torn when the children are trying to attach the links.
Perfect for counting, number recognition and fine motor skills.
Of course, if you didn’t want to use paper clips, you can use the links shown in the photo.
I kid you not, I spent hours trying to source these links in the UK – the first challenge was finding out what they were actually called. They seem to be readily available in the US (like so many fantastic educational things) but less so over here.
However, I spoke to the very lovely people from the TTS and they are offering a large jar of Link ‘N’ Learn for £8.56 inc VAT which I thought was very reasonable as they could be used for so many mini activities.
Sam C said “I love it! This will be on one of my challenge tables next week in Foundation Stage 2, using teen numbers”.
Thank you to The Princess and the Tot for sharing this great practical activity.
