Welcome to my first blog post of 2013 – I can’t promise that it’s going to be particularly ground breaking but I just thought I’d take the time to first of all say Happy New Year!
And also share a little about what to expect for the first quarter.
As many of you already know, Jay has undertaken the task of creating a Teacher’s Pet app for all you lovely iPad, iPod and iPhone users out there. The app will basically allow people to browse an app version of our websites – making sure you can keep up to date with our latest resources, download your favourites and enjoy searching whilst you’re on the go!
The app is looking great and we are hoping to send this for review to the lovely people at Apple very soon so watch this space!
I have to admit that by the time December 21st came around, I was more than ready to take a break. After losing our beloved Benji at the end of November, it was great just to take some time for myself and recharge those batteries.
On the bright side, I am feeling refreshed, inspired and ready to press forward into 2013 with lots of new and hopefully exciting, classroom resources.
New topics and resources to be on the look out for are:
Science, reading, ICT and Maths target displays
LOTS of editable bits and bobs
New story resources
And lots more!!
After the success of our Christmas competition – where we asked you to name the character for our new app, we are now well into designing and mapping all the games for our new Maths app! We will be sharing sneak previews very soon!
We also have something very exciting coming your way in March, which we hope will help make your school lives that bit easier but that’s all I can say on that for now
Our Facebook and Twitter pages, will as always, continue to be updated with display and activity ideas, your HELP! questions, new resources and any other bits and bobs I come across that I feel you will find useful or interesting.
My door is always open, so if you have any Teacher’s Pet display photos you’d like to share, ideas for resources you’d like to see, questions you’d like help with from our lovely Teacher’s Pet community or you just want to say ‘Hello!’, please get in touch via email@example.com
