Window Numbers

After our popular ‘Inspiration for your Classroom’ posts during the Summer last year, I thought I would spend some time blogging about all the images I have been sharing on Facebook recently, so they can be found more easily and accessed at school should you need them.

The first in this series starts with:

Large display numbers with bonds and representations inside them.

I think this could be a fun group activity, where children can discuss, explore and record all the different ways a number can be represented.

Their recordings would also make lovely learning displays too.

Of course, there is nothing stopping you making these yourself and then displaying them, I just personally feel there is more to be gained by getting the children to make them themselves, or perhaps it could be a whole class carpet activity?

I recently created a set of posters inspired by this photo. You can find those available to download for free HERE

Many thanks to The Kinder Cupboard for the image
