Yummy Pizza Fractions

I came across this photo via Pinterest yesterday and thought it was a great idea for a fractions activity and would make a fantastic interactive display too.

Free Resource Pack

So to help you along I’ve made up a free resource pack that you could use in class.
Let the children make up their own pizzas either using the toppings included or they can make/draw their own. Then use the menu sheet or write the ingredients inside using fractions.

Use the black and white version for either photocopying onto coloured card to save ink or let the kids decorate the pizzas themselves.

There is also a full colour version – this would be great for cutting out and laminating to make a reusable game or enlarge to make an interactive wall display.

Food pieces are included but again, you could let the children draw/make their own.

There are also fraction cards included to help the children to write their pizza fractions and again they could be used for a display.

CLICK HERE to download the free resource pack.
